San Lazzaro degli Armeni (Armenian " ", English : Saint Lazarus Island) is a tiny and absolutely beautiful island lying in the middle ofthe Venetian Lagoon; completely occupied by an Armenian Monastery that is the mother-house of the Mekhitarist Order, the island is one of the world's foremost centers of Armenian culture.
